I have a
RTX 2070 turbo 8gb
16 of ram
SSD
750w Gold 80+ corsair
I7 6700k
If anyone watches it plays fortnite competitively, I get about 40-80fps sometimes just sitting it a 1 by 1 with 40/50 people left
Moving zone (end game) i about 30- 40 people i get 40- 60 fps when my friends a getting 100 easily and my fps is never consistent even dropping salty, I cap it at 144 and always goes down and up when my friends FPS doesnt move and his spec is a lot worse
To save me and you time theres apparently nothing wrong with my PC, I gave it to professionals and they said my pc works perfect and I have tried everything so dont msg basic shit like driver or that, I'm more looking to see if theres anyway to increase my fps
On csgo, I get 120-260. It drops to 120-170 in fights but more focusing to see if theres anything I can manage to improve it in FORTNITE specifically cuz again I've did everything to improve my fps but nothing has worked.

Not the issue butThanks for trying to help but these are just you know obvious. 1920x1080, all on low settings
Csgo at high but when I put the quality lower, my fps goes lower
Dude put them at Max it will have higher fps because it will use more of the GPU otherwise it runs Lower clocks and doesn't work

Dude you have a Radeon rx 470 I don't think it's even possible to hit 60 fps on fortnite with that. It's really old.[/QUOTE]

LOL I love when people make excuses about GPUs cause of their date of release. I can run Far Cry 5 on ultra @ 70fps.

What GPU do you have?

What resolution. I'm not saying about date of release I'm saying that the GPU is just not great it's mid range budget you. Not mid-range I mean mid range in the budget range of gpus. I have no idea how u do that on far cry but I'm just saying that it's normal to have trouble on newer game titles.

1920x1080. I hit 300 fps on all medium on fortnite, 70 on all ultra on Far Cry 5. You're pathetic. The RX570 is stronger than the GTX 1050ti. You'll go far judging parts by release date and price.

No I'm saying that's very crazy to me I have a RX 5700 the new one and it barely can keep a stable 185 in fortnite. I never said the RX 470 is worse than the 1050ti I know it's on par because I do lots of research on this stuff but it just doesn't make sense how u hit these frame rates that's why I'm asking for your resolution. And btw the reason it doesn't do better at those higher settings is that the GPU is stressed to 99 percent usage on medium so putting it up makes it worse. The rtx 2070 and rx 5700 have more memory and more room to handle those settings. So I'm telling you to leave it at medium

I have a 570, not a 470. My bad.
An RX470 is still better than a GTX1050ti non-the-less.
Ok cool. I just looked some stuff up and I actually believe you now but I'm saying it might not handle Max fortnite settings because of the size of the map and the CPU might not be able to handle all the people.

I have this problem sometimes also. My gpu fans don't turn on and my fps is like 30 in a indie game like Terraria. I have a rx570 also, and if the cables aren't plugged in properly it can cause issues. Another fix is to update the drivers for the gpu.

Also, you can use the Wattman to set the fan speed.
