Hello, I didnt really know where to put this problem, so I just put it here. So basicly my problem is that i get frequent FPS Lag spikes, now this only happends if some sort of music / sound is playing on my computer, if I stop all sound and take out my headset or whatever the fps lag are insanely minor to non existant. I read this thread THREAD, but after I did all that, the lag spikes were minor, but still there.

SPECS:

Cooler Master G650M, 650W Modular PSU

Intel Core i5-4690K Processor

MSI Z97-G43, Socket-1150

HyperX Fury DDR3 1600MHz 8GB Black KIT

(EVGA) NVIDIA GeForce GTX 780 Ti 3GB superclocked

Kingston V300 SSD 2.5" 120GB SATA 3.0

Some random harddrive with 1 TB

Any help would be really appreciated.

EDIT: There is lag even without sound, but minor, the sound increases the lag greatly. Also the sound lags aswell and makes a grating sound, hope thats how you spell it. Like when you have an old tv with black and white squares.

EDIT EDIT: A video of it https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wmnf6igYrG4&feature=youtube_gdata

Solution
You should ALWAYS be playing with Vsync on. This is standard practice. Most of the lag you were getting was screen tearing and that is what Vsync is designed to eliminate.

I would replace PSU and reinstall ALL drivers, both motherboard and GPU.
The PSU, although likely not the issue, should be replaced as it is way too low quality for a computer like this. Replace it with an XFX, Antec, Seasonic.

This should be the first step. It will also ensure your computer isn't fried by the low quality unit.

You should remove all overclocks as well. Are you using Vsync?

So far so good, but this really messes up my sensitivity, It makes it super slow and like really smooth and I dont like it ;c
EDIT: I got a lag spike with the sound, this seemed to reduce the lag, but it just happend, really minor tho.
