FPS remains almost the same after upgrading GPU.

Hi, I recently upgraded my R9 380 4GB to a GTX 970 4GB, but the FPS hasn't increased. This guy (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oEC1HzA4Gpo) has a similar PC (same CPU and GPU) but his FPS are much higher. I used the same settings that he used on the video but i'm averaging 45 fps with my FX 8320e clocked at 3,8 GHz and, on stock speeds, i'm averaging 40. Any ideas why my performance is so poor? I am brazilian btw, so sorry for any grammar mistake.

Have you installed the drivers?

Yes, I downloaded and installed the most recent driver from the nVIDIA website. Before I installed the nVIDIA driver I deleted the previous one with DDU.

Where did you buy it from?

I bought it used from a very good seller, the GPU is in very good condition. Here in Brazil new hardware is very expensive. Example:the cheapest GTX 1060 6GB is 373 USD.

Have you tested out multiple games?

I only tested it on GTA 5, CS:GO and BF4. On the last two my FPS is fine.

It is probably defective.
