Hi there!
I have a gaming PC with relatively high end components (specs listed below). However, I tend to get frequent and noticeable fps drops when playing games. It happens on most games I play where they would run at 60 fps and drop down to about 45 fps for seemingly no reason regardless of the settings I am playing on. I have tried the following to fix the issue;
*Unparking cpu cores.
*Disabling Anti-virus.
*Disabling Hyper-Threading.
*Changing power options to prefer performance on windows and Nvidia control panel.
*Did a fresh install of Windows and all the drivers.
*Scanned for malware and viruses using Malwarebytes and Bitdefender.
*Updating all the drivers to the latest version.

None of these seemed to have worked for me. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
Specs;
MSI Z97 Gaming 7 Motherboard
Intel i7 4790K running @ stock speeds
Nvidia Titan X
16GB DDR3 RAM @ 1600MHz
Corsair 750 M Power Supply
OS and programs are installed on a 240 GB SSD While games are installed on a 2TB Hard Drive.
While playing, the CPU reaches about 65 degrees Celsius while my GPU reaches about 83 Degrees when playing demanding games. I have read that this is common for the Titan X with the stock cooler which is what I have.
Thanks!

That's why you are not seeing any real gains with your card. In order to see gains of performance and to actually let that card do what it was made to do, you need to have at least 1440p or 4k with that sucker. If not more than just one of those panels btw. 1080p is a thing of the past with the newest GPUs and it is a sin to game with them at such a resolution. Just saying. Plus, up the AA. Your card was made to max AA settings like a champ.

If my two 780ti classys can out perform your titan X at stock settings, we have major issues is what I'm saying.

That makes sense, but it seems to happen with a lot of games. In some cases I have friends that have 770's and 980's that can run the game flawlessly on high settings while I struggle on medium. That's what concerns me the most. The fps drop isn't major but it is very noticeable and really ruins the experience.

What resolution and AA are you playing at?

I usually play at 1920x1080 with AA turned off or on the lowest setting, but mostly turned off.

I believe that's it! I played at 1080P seeing that's the resolution of my monitor, but it is old now and with that, its about time I get a new one. I'll definitely be looking for either a 1440P or 4K. Thanks for clearing that up for me! I was really hoping that I wasn't having any odd hardware issues.
