Question FPS/Stutter lag

PC SPECS:

850 Corsair PSU
i7 7700K
GTX 1080
32GB RAM
ASUS MAXIMUM VIII MOBO
250 GB x2 Samsung EVO SSD (main SSD performing (below expectations) according to user benchmark test.

Hey everyone

I'm getting FPS Drops/Stutters in all games I play and don't really know what could be causing this

• tried cleaning PC out of dust etc
• nothing is overheating
• nothing is overclocked
• all drivers are up to date
• done a fresh install of windows
• only thing I've changed in the BIOS would be to XMP mode for my RAM.

I've also tried "unparking cores" but nothing really seems to be working at all
