The past few months, some of the games i play have been experiencing heavy fps stuttering issues. It seems to be mostly games that are GPU-heavy.
The stuttering is very consistent and repeats about every half second. For example:
Helldivers 2: on ultra settings i get about 120fps. Every second it goes 120/80/120/80/120/80/120 very quickly. Quick enough to notice a skip in gameplay.
One thing to note (not sure if it matters) is that the GPU time also jumps with the fps stuttering. So as my FPS drops, my GPU timer jumps to a higher ms.
If my fps drops from 120/80, my GPU time goes from 9.0ms to 12.0ms at the same rate as the FPS, which leads me to think it could be a GPU issue.
I have:
Any help would be sufficient. Suggestions on what it could be, what to do, etc.
Thanks!

I have:
- Installed all current drivers
- Tested my RAM sticks
- Swapped installations on different drives
- Reinstalled Windows
