Question Frame drops in game while using google chrome

I play a lot of rocket league and pubg on pc and every time I have google chrome open with spotify, twitch, pandora, or other tabs I get significant frame drops. As soon as I close out chrome thr frames return to normal. Any suggestions would really help as I don't want to use any other web browser. I'm using spotify web player not the app. I have a 1070 GPU i7 7700k 16 GB ddr4 and a ben q 240 hrz monitor.

I tried internet explorer the other day but it kept freezing whenever I would open a stream on twitch
