Fraps FPS Drop

Hello, i'm a new user to fraps, and i have a PC, that should be able to run fraps defiantly without any FPS drop. I was wondering if anyone knew the issue behind this? When i'm not recording i get my standard 100 FPS lock, with minecraft, when i hit record it drops to 23.

It soaks up alot of RAM when recording, try setting it to "half screen" in FRAPS settings. That way you won't loose as much FPS as before.

Hi, you should get another recording program, FRAPS is notoriously famous for destroying your FPS.
I suggest DxTory or NVIDIA Shadowplay. Keep in mind that Shadowplay will only work on NVIDIA GPUs that are part of the 600 Series or higher.
