Freakin Audio problem

I built a pc a while ago, and i recentley found out that it's completely muted(no sound). I'm not sure what could be the problem. My motherboard is a asus sabertooth x79, and my case is a cooler master n600 mid-tower.

Have you made sure your default audio device is set to whatever audio output you are using eg speaker or digital out? (right click volume control and select playback devices).

1) boot to the BIOS (DEL on boot) and make sure the audio is enabled.

2) Install the audio software/drivers (usually Realtek from the motherboard site)

3) Try more than one audio device (speakers and headphones).

4) Make sure audio is enabled in software:
right-click Playback devices (bottom right), select REALTEK audio a default and run the TEST.
