[SOLVED] free antivirus that monitors chrome (web activity)?

so my mcafee subscition just ended and i wondered if there would be a good antivirus software that would in real time monitor what i do on chrome and protect my PC.

i got the bit defender free, but does it actively protect my PC (chrome traffic) or only when i launch the bit defender and do a virus check?

I don't know of any commercial antivirus or security suite products that don't offer realtime protection these days. All of the majors and also any "minors" I've dealt with for years do.

Windows Security does, too.
