I thought it starts tomorrow. Today is Thursday. I already preloaded it, just going to play the trial but not going to spend $30 on this game. I have it on 360 already.

That happened to me with UT3 preload. I finished downloading it after it expired. And then I deleted it, and then they made it free the following weekend. I was like well enough of this I'm not going to bother.
 
L4D was good but I saw no reason to buy it after I got done playing it...provided a weekend LAN's worth of fun but that's it. I deleted my copy when I was done
 
Ok, enough with people claiming they are not called Zombies but infected only. YOU ARE WRONG! At the end of the campaign at the statistics screen, Valve clearly says: "1043 zombies were hurt during the making of this movie". It says "ZOMBIES", so yes, there are both infected AND zombies. Get over it! lol

What's the point of faster load times anyway? I mean at work I've got a 100Mbit, and even my grandma has an 8Mbit in her apartment .... and it'll run just fine even on a 2Mbit anyway - which everybody who's into hardware probably has.

OMG!!! OMG!!! OMG!!!. I just tried yesterday and today for the first time! This game is so much fun...people get it ^_^ I'm not sure if i'm ready to buy it yet tho, i did get disconnected a few times, but reconnected easy. Other than that, i give it a 9.5/10.
 
Are there any new missions available for download? Although I was impressed with it defaulting to 1900x1200 when I entered the game on high details and it ran real well and looked better than xbox360, it was still the exact same game. I played for about 5 minutes then exited out. Was boring after playing it so many times on xbox.
 
I think they are just targeting new sales...new players. For instance, this was the very first time i got it...and enjoyed every minute. I cannot decide if i want the PC version or XBOX 360...🙁
 
xbox360 version was more fun, almost everyone has a mic and xbox360 controller+mic is simple to set up, just plug it in. can have problems with mics on pc and usually you're hardwired to the pc case meh. 360 i have wireless controller and the option to even have a wireless headset if i want. only thing is the graphics aren't as good of course, since you can do higher resolution on pc.
