So here's the problem. I have an acer predator helios 300 (nvidia 1060 6 gb, intel core i7-7700hq, 16 gbs of ddr4 laptop ram.) I recently bought the acer XFA-240. a $200 1080p 144 hzs freesync monitor. i bought it for the soul reason that is was deemed "g-sync compatible" by nvidia. I have been using the hdmi port on the side to connect to the monitor but it sadly only outputs 120 hzs. is there any way I can use the thunderbolt 3 port on my comp to up my monitor to 144 hzs. if so would someone mind linking any products they find. everything on amazon says that its USB-C to displayport, not thunderbolt 3 to dp. THANKS!
