[SOLVED] FreeSync monitor with Nvidia GPU

Hi,

I enabled GSync with my 2080 Ti and FreeSync from monitor settings but I still get tearing in AC Odyssey.
Is FreeSync really working as good as AMD GPUs with Nvidia GPUs?

I get 60fps avg in the game benchmark at 4K60.
My monitor is LG 27UL600 4K 60Hz FreeSync.

There's a framerates range that you must stay within in order for the Freesync to work. If you're over or under that range you'll get stuttering and tearing.

From what I can find your monitor has a freesync range of 40-60hz, so if FPS goes above 60 or falls below 40 you could get some screen tearing. If you get screen tearing in that range I would assume it's not enabled.

One last question, why in other games like CS:GO I don't see tearing eventhought fps is over 60?

I enabled adaptive sync and set fps limit to 60 in game settings and now its smooth.
