Freesync or GTX?

Unfortunately, there has been a shortage of Radeon cards in recent months caused in part by cryptocurrency miners, and the prices have risen much higher than what the cards originally launched for. Really, the RX 580 8GB was intended to be around the price of a 1060 6GB, and offered slightly better performance, but the prices of AMD's cards have increased substantially in most areas, so they're likely much higher where you are as well. Because of that, it's hard to recommend AMD's cards at the moment, until the prices come back down to normal levels, which could potentially take months.

For now, the GTX 1060 6GB would offer better performance for the money, and would probably be the better buy compared to an RX 570, even if you will miss out on Freesynch. The alternative would be to wait, but that might not be practical if you need a card now.
