Hi,
I started to have this problem 2 days ago. When i left my PC to idle for at least 5 mins, the first click always works (like closing a tab). But after that i can't do anything but moving the mouse. Any commands like ctrl+alt+del doesn't work. When i hover over the taskbar, cursor gets to loading state. Only thing i can do is to shutdown using power button.

What I tried:
1-Updating drivers,bios and windows
2-Chkdsk and Scan now
3-Manual Defragging
4-Checking Events (There are no events between the start of idle and next start-up
5-Changing Power Options

My Specs:
Dell Inspiron 7559
Windows 10 Home 1803
8GB Ram
Nvidia GTX 960M
Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-6700HQ CPU @ 2.60GHz

Thank you in advance.

Edit:I checked the day before my first freeze from "Reliability History" and i saw that i updated Nvidia GeForce that day. I made a "Clean" installation of Nvidia Drivers and it solved my problem. (at least for now)

Solution
Use Reliability History and Event Viewer to look for error codes and warnings that occur just before or at the time of the freezes.

Or after the "idle time".

Thanks for your reply. I checked them both. Only errors around idle times are "Windows was not properly shut down". Interestingly the time it tells is start of the freezing instead of me shutting it down using power button
