So quick question, sometimes when i start up my PC the desktop freezes for like 15 seconds but i can move my mouse, and usually when it stops freezing Avast (my anti virus) has like a popup in the bottom right corner saying like "oh protect your business PC's" . Is this a issue with Avast or is it like windows or something. When it freezes my hard drive isnt clicking or making any unusual noises, so i dont think it is that. Any help?

15 seconds is normal for a desktop to fully load after the computer starts, depending on the model/brand and how it's setup of course.
It's likely Avast loading or many any number of other resident programs that start with the system.
