Frequent BSOD's after new CPU installation.

I recently just installed a new CPU (Athlon x4 880k) into my computer and ever since I've been getting frequent BSOD's. I've checked my drives, memory, drivers, and windows tells me that everything is fine. I also just reset my computer for a new windows install to see if that would maybe fix the problem and it didn't. Before installing the new CPU, everything worked fine and there were no crashes or any sort of problems.

I'm using the MSI A78M-E35 motherboard and the version its running is V30.3 (yes, it's a very old build.)

I also have the minidump files if you guys want me to provide that.

Perhaps a simple BIOS update will fix this. What CPU were you using before and what power supply are you using?

I was using a AMD A6-6400K APU, and the power supply is a Sparkle Power SPI Switching Power Supply FSP35050GMN. Like I said, old build.

Not much in the way of power there to run a video card.

Got a GTX 1050 and it's working just fine, so I'm not really worried about that.
