Question Frequent BSoD's and not responding.

In the past week, my PC has been acting a little off, and recently I got 2 BSoD's between yesterday and today. On top of that, some apps frequently stop responding for a bit, especially Steam.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Specs:
MoBo: Z87-G45
CPU: i7 4790k
GPU: GTX 1050
RAM: 2x8gb HyperX Fury
Case: Zalman Z11


The temperature isn't the issue it seems, as it's pretty normal at all times.

My PSU is the EVGA NEX 750B, and I'm not sure how to answer the question about the HDD health, but if it helps, it's very old, at least 5 years old I'd say.

Update: Another issue I've found myself running into is my screen freezing up when clicking on something or scrolling, only for it to "fast forward" to where I am after half a minute. Simply opening a folder caused my File Explorer to stop responding for a moment.
