can anyone help? most of my game crashes. I have a newly built assembled PC bought some 2 months before.?

i tried updating my bios and my graphics card driver even tried running in xp i passed memtest and checked my hard disk too. can anyone please help me i really want to play skyrim and call of duty: modern warfare 3 but they crash on starting and return to desktop. Even some limited games that i can run crashes midway through the game ex: Prototype 2 and assassins creed. Please Please Please help me any way here are my system. here are my system specs. (hey i had a limited budget). Thanks again whoever is my savior.

i am running on I'm running Windows 7 Ultimate 64Bit at 1366x768 resolution.

Please help!!

Hardware as follows:

Asus P8h61-m-lx3 Motherboard
Intel I5-2320
4GB ram
NVIDIA GeForce GT 520 (2gb)

You should be able to play these games without a problem at the resolution you mentioned -- as stated above it might be a software issue.

Anyway, as you are running it on a 64 bit system, then get some more ram -- 8GB is recommended for games.

When you can get a better graphic card.

actually budget is really tight right now so cant spend that much bucks on gaming but the thing is the games are well over the recommended requirements.... but i still cant pin point the problem... i cant even run cod4:mw1... it crashes back to desktop like mentioned earlier but that game runs is pcs with specs much much lower than even mine.. i updated my drivers, bios and even formated mt pc to xp dan win7 32bit and than returned to 64 bit as the same problem occured sooo can you pleas suggest me how to fix it.... ieven ran memtest and checked my hd for bad sectors.... pleas help

it just closes back to my desktop... usually on the startup of the game for example when i run cod:mw3 it rums for 4-5 secs than goes back to my desktop with the msg iw5sp.exe has stopped working.... similarly with most games

quite similar (skyrim, cod:mw, avatar the game)... prototype 2 stopped working halfway and act in the same manner so does assasins creed... suprsingly fifa13 works quite well

Okay, could you download Prime95 and Furmark, run In-place Large FFTs test and Furmark Burn-in test? When you do that, could you go to task manager, processes tab, find prime95.exe, right click it, go to priority and set it to low? When you do that, leave it running for 15-20 minutes and after that tell me whether it crashes in that time or not. Also, have HWMonitor running in the background all the time, and post a screenshot of it when you're done.

What? Frenz? What's that?

I'd suggest you download Steam from http://store.steampowered.com/ and install a free game - like Team Fortress 2. Check if that game is crashing. If it's not, then it means your games are corrupted - just enter their CD keys to steam and it will download the proper versions which will not crash.
