Question Frequent Power Blips

Hello all,

My place of residence, and whole neighborhood, has frequent power blips. I'm talking about loss of power anywhere from 1 second to 1 minute and at 1 to 4 times a week.
My pc is currently set to automatically power back on after a power failure, when power is restored.
My question is, is this fine? Or should I be flushing out the residual power and then manually powering on the pc?
Just a bit worried is all.

May not be a bad idea to get a decent ups unit.

Ok good. I do have a surge protector, just didn't know if the high frequency of the blips could cause damage or corrupt files.
As for a ups, I thought about it, but I'll be moving within the next year or so, so I think I'll wait it out.
