Man thankyou so much i honestly cant express how much i appreciate your help, ill try this soon once files are deleted and i try copy them etc, ive been thinking its ram related but ive had no evidence that it is, ive also deleted 400gb of files from my current c drive(not my old maybe corrupt one) and its not crashed yet.

Soon ill try copying the same files with the ram suggestion you made (getting to my old nvme is a pain its under my gpu) and if that still blue screens ive got a seperate pc i can test the copying files from the other drive(supposed corrupted one) and see if my other pc crashes too

also what ram slots was your pc in 2 and 4 ?

honestly its fine its what the forum is for.

just remember to copy the files 2 or 3 at a time there could be a bad sector on any drive and the minute it hits that bad sector it will error out.
Ive got file ocd so the stuff and program settings etc i want are all very well organised so it shouldnt be too hard to get it all, thankyou for the advice ill let you know if i get any results soon, currently copying small chunks is not causing any issues

Memory_Slot_2of4_PjPNY3L.width-1000.format-webp.webp
The picture is not related to my model but from that perspective they are in a2 and b2 so i assume thats 2 and 4

sounds like theres a file in maybe 1 of those chunks youd be suprised what 1 file does to ram lol.
Also is the fact my usb install media was blue screening a concern ? Like launching the usb from bios was sometimes blue screening, in the end it made it all the way through but it was a good few times it blue screened on me or just straight up crashed no errors

Stop getting my hopes up 😀 My old windows install had strange issues with razer synapse not being able to install or reinstall and icons were all bugged an empty, strange things like that and random blue screens, does this sound like it could be related to a dodgy file ?

My friends telling me im too quiet is why im here right now 😀 the new razer app promised me fixes but it just destroyed everything, made me miss the old versions bugs that once ruined my life 😀 atleast im not alone i guess

your certainly not alone on that half the forum on it are not happy about it lol.
similar
i think it was ea sims and ea app in the early 90s that murdered machines.
Good to know that im not alone haha i thought i was losing my mind, and damn thats a throwback 😀 also what if i think ive moved all my files but just in smaller chunks ? would that point to a ram issue being more likely ?

Ill still try later on to put the ssd (possibly corupted one) in my other pc and try trigger the blue screen by moving it all

it could be a load issue on memory possibly a bad module you can run the memory test if it spits out errors youll know. could be 1 bad stick. you can do the very tedious way of running the software 1 stick at a time in slot 2 but it takes hours lol.

yes its a throw back feeling old lol. pcs where a pain then and they still are now. bit easier to diagnose a issue now instead of screaming into the void lol.

still ea now just breaks computers with there app and sims god knows what number there at now lol.

I mean at this point ill probably just do that 😀 thanks for the warning on how long it takes tho and man i will never understand all the launchers and why none of them can function, most annoying thing ever, steam is the only one that has been good to me over the years, fking uplay or whatever they called it now has always been the worst thing ever 😀

honestly bad coding and valve has the advantage of being on the platform for years and regularly updates steam.

my advise would be for save files on steam to get a pen drive 64gb etc and make a back up of your saves.

games can be redownloaded saves on other hand can sometimes not back up on the cloud lol. i keep a drive in a drawer and update it monthly lol.

we all learn from our mistakes lol and building pcs for last 20 years helps too lol. youd be amazed how many oem pc sod ups use hot glue to keep cables in place.

I managed to copy everything over without any blue screens, and i ran memtest on one ram in slot 2 with no errors, still getting random blue screens :'(
