Hello everyone, I have a weird problem with my new graphics card. I bought this GTX 1060 at the end of July and 2 weeks after I started having weird crashes, sometimes even when I would start the PC, it happened while the PC was even idle, it happened while in-games, even surfing the web. So I sent it back in service, waited 15 days to get it back 3 hours ago, put it back in, my PC restarted several times and then when it finally loaded this happened.
Now it simply not starting at all while having this GPU plugged in on the other hand my old GPU, a 750 TI has no problems at all, I used this while my 1060 was in service and I had no problems what so ever, no crashes or anything, everything was working how it should but as soon as I swapped, the whole system became unstable.
At first I thought it might be the PSU but it wouldnt make any sense tho that it works with the 750 ti and not with the 1060 even if the power consumption is twice on the GTX 1060.
My setup has.
MOBO=GA-B85-HD3
PSU=Seasonic M12II-620 EVO
CPU=I3-4150 3.50 GHz
RAM=HyperX FURY - 16GB Kit* (2x8GB)
HDD=Seagate Barracuda 1TB, 7200rpm, 64MB cache, SATA III, 3.5 inch
Case=Antec Eleven Hundred
(200 mm exhaust fan, rear 120 mm fan stock and 3 additional NZXT A1225l12S fans)
I know that my PC isn't the best one but eh (and yes I know the GPU is going to be bottlenecked alot), gonna change it soon anyway but until then... I have this issues and I really want to know what's the issue.
My load Wattage is about 220 W with the GTX 750 ti. (what I use to write this post)
Load Wattage with the GTX 1060 should be around 290 W. (if I use OC mode)
The PC doesn't even start now with the 1060 anymore, but I have no problems with the 750 ti, is the 1060 the problem or something else ?
