[SOLVED] Fried System Fan

So I plugged a 3 pin into a 4 pin fan system and a little black piece beside the fan system caught fire. I shut it down and I image the system fan 1 no longer works. Any ideas on how to get my fan working or a solution for the blown fan plugin on the motherboard? Thank you

Blown fan - buy a new one

Blown header - get a 2 fan splitter to use on a working header.
