Question PC freezing, stuttering and disconnecting from the internet ?

Helping a friend. he is having issues. randomly he has been losing internet only on his computer, all other devices stay online. His computer will randomly freeze, during this he can hit start windows, but everything he has running completely freezes.

intel i9-10900k
rog strix z490-Egaming
radeon 9700xt
cpu windows 11
ram-cl18-22-22 D4 3600 OLOy
PSU- theramaltake 850g
AIO-corsair 360 h150i

I dont know much, but i do know his ram sucks haha. maybe its a ram timing issue, needs new ram or maybe thermal paste issues.

any recommendations would be greatly appreciated.

he is willing to spend anything to get it fixed.

You didn't state if the internet connectivity issues were across Ethernet or WiFi. Have you tried uninstalling and reinstalling your network adapter's drivers?

What BIOS version are you on for your motherboard?

PSU- theramaltake 850g
Thermaltake is the brand of the unit, while 850W is the advertised wattage of the PSU. I'm assuming the G refers to the 80+ efficiency of the unit which denotes Gold, but what it the model of the PSU? Along those lines, what is the age of the PSU?

Hi,
The "g" in the 850 was a typo and was suppose to be a "w" for the wattage. its a 850w 80+g gold smart zero 256. The power supply was bought in 2020. I am talking to him now and he has never updated his bios. so I will start there, which is where i should have, but i figured it was a given. so that's on me.

The ram he uses is completely new to me and the fact that its an "off" brand might be the issue, or his timings are messed up. The entire losing internet connection to only his pc and no other devices in the house is completely unfamiliar for me.

any recommendations would be greatly appreciated.

maybe its a bios related issue and he needs to update it?
