My friend wants to swap over to pc gaming and I set up a pc build for him. I found the total of all of this and it came around 1336.61. Which is super close to 1337, and he wants to spend around $1300 for his new pc. He's switching from ps4 gaming to pc master race. Let me know if anything needs total changing. He wants to run games on his 4k tv, even though i know he should really have a monitor, is the build i made good or what should i change?

Couple of things off the cuff

CPU Cooler: First, technically do you don't need one. The non K series come with their own cooler, and as you're not overclocking will do the job. That said, an aftermarket cooler will perform better and produce less noise. Second, that's a low profile cooler and unless you absolutely need to go low profile, you're better of going with a good tower fan. Something like the Cryorig H7 will be better and only cost about $3 more.

PSU: It's not only overkill on the wattage, its a trash model. The GPU only needs about 500w, so a 550w will do what you need. A Corsair CMX 550w(current black/white model, not the green/white model) will give you want you need. It'll also save you about $50.

A good step up from there would be an EVGA G2 550w. Runs about $75

SSD: You don't have one. They're nice (tho not needed) and help give a nice speed boost to overall performance. It won't help gaming but if you have $90 laying around it's nice to have. Something like the Samsung 850 Evo 250GB
