Question friends same graphics card different results

I am playing on 1050 TI and my friend with better all other parts than me i think with same graphic cards have better results but the difference is big i am not even constant 120 in fortnite at some areas i am only buffering between 100 - 120 and sometimes drop to 50-80 while my friend on the other hand says he is still constant 160 which he capped at i mean he has better parts and all but is the difference really so big?

Is your friend on the same graphics setting, also what is your system spec

FPS and performance doesn't entirely rely on the graphics card alone. Can you mention your specs and your friends specs?

my friends specs im not sure but he has like 32 gb ram i think because his father needs alot of his work

yehh but its so big difference like i literally drop to 50 fps while he stays at 160 cap lol

Could be he has way better parts than you, until we can get his specs, I can't say whether it's the computers fault or not

And your friend has more ram too.
With with 8GB it can be insufficient in some games and system has to use virtual/simulated ram instead (pagefile).
This causes slowdowns and frame drops.

16GB is the recommended amount of ram nowadays. 32GB for gaming is excessive, but it doesn't hurt either.
