I am using the notorious green Corsair CX500 for my picture editing rig

Vanilla i7-9700
ASUS B360M-A
2x8Gb Corsair 2666/16 RAM at XMP
Quadro K2000
PM863a 480Gb
7 various size HDDs on and off via Antec external SATA bay, maximum 3 concurrently
Corsair CX500

And I saw CX650 is on sale 39.99 after rebate.. Should I get it? My CX500 is working just fine right now though.
What do you think??

You may be able to use either the 2021EGGIEUPS or EMPUSA2021 codes to be able to take another 10% off the original price of that PSU. $6 more off isn't anything to sneeze at, brings your total down to $33.99.

(side note - today it's showing the CX650 as $69.99, and thus $49.99 after rebate, or $42.99 with one of those 10% off coupons)

As an aside, NewEgg also has the TX550M PSU on sale for $49.99. No mail in rebate, but one of those codes should knock it down to $45. Less total wattage (516W on the 12V rail), but a tougher PSU overall with a longer warranty, if you don't need the higher wattage.

Those rebates going on right now are great (assuming you'll get it). I picked up the 550w CX for $29.99 AR for a friend who is using this for a RTX 3060 and Ryzen 5600G

actually I know someone works in newegg, and those codes are for newegg employees. Not sure if they honor those leaked codes for general public.

Amazon had the TX550M on sale yesterday for $32.99 shipped. it was a 3rd party seller TELeasy but I have bought PSU's from them before and they were brand new in shrink wrap.

Yeah, I'd posted about it, and got one myself . . but it was weird. I found the deal, posted, and later that day it was gone.

Then back the next day, I updated that it was back, and less than an hour after that, it was gone again.

Hmm, I couldn't say. It did at the cart, but since I was just checking, not actually going to purchase, it may have kicked it out later if I tried to finalize the purchase.

The last purchase I made from NewEgg, it was the same, but at the time, I had a straight "$10 off $50 or more" coupon (SPECIAL4U), and used that instead. Though, that one is no longer valid when I checked today.
