Front fan positioning

So I'm going to buy a new fan for my case and it will be going right to the front. The front section of my case has two slots for it to fit, a lower and higher area.
What would be the best location for the fan?
I'm only guessing that the lower fan would cool the GPU while the higher would cool the CPU more. Any information at all would be useful 😀

Use the higher slot as that would help air circulation more. When you're not running 3+ GPUs you mainly just want the hot air from the case to be exhausted more than blowing air at the GPU.

I was thinking that as well. My HDDs aren't blocking the way as much up the top either. Thanks
