Front of case connectors to Motherboard. Are they all a standard format?

Hi, Are the various connectors that go from the front of a PC case to the motherboard like for the on/off switch, earphones, USB connectors to headers etc etc all of a generic standard format? If they are not do I have to check before buying a case into which I'm putting a new motherboard that the connectors are compatible with the specific motherboard I choose? On the other hand can I buy any case of the right form factor and I'll have no problem with the connectors?

yeah, you will just have to refer to the motherboards manual on where to plug them in.

They are all standarised
