Front panel audio jack

I don't know if it belongs in this category but i got problem with my front audio jack on my pc case SilentiumPC Regnum RG1W. When i plug in my head set only one side produce audio. I pluged my headset directly to my motherboard trough jack on the back and it worked fine so i assume it's not my headset's fault. Any ideas ?

Hi

By headset do you mean stereo speakers or a combined speakers + microphone

The combined earphone speakers with microphone with a apple compatible plug may not work correctly in a pc audio out socket

Did the audio out front socket ever work?

If never worked it could be cable for front microphone and speaker are not plugged into mother board correctly

On my case the front audio cable has 2 different plugs and a set of single wire connectors at the motherboard end (for AC97 or HD audio standards)

I mean Headphones with mic. It worked not so long ago only yesterday when i tried it i find out it doesn't work correctly.
