Question Front Panel Connectors

Hi all

Do you get an adapter which I can put my usb 3.0 front panel connector into a 2.0 USB port on my motherboard? It’s for my case USB port.I have an Asus Prime B450Plus. I disconnected my front panel cables from my motherboard and when I put them back in the usb 3.0 stopped working and I’m not sure why?I could have damaged it but I’m not sure. But if it is can I still make a plan to connect my front USB ports in anyway

Though hard to unplug, USB 3.0 motherboard ports are normally pretty resilient, so unless something went wrong I doubt you damaged it. If it's not working, USB 2.0 to 3.0 cables are available.

Hi there,thank you for your advice.im not sure why it isnt working,do you have any idea why it wouldnt work?i think i will have to get the cable.Is there any software that can test the header or reset it?
