Quick question about your posting issue. How many memory modules do you have installed???

On that motherboard, if you have just one, it needs to be in the first BLACK slot nearest the cpu, called DIMM_A0 by MSI.

2 modules should be in the first and middle BLACK slots, DIMM_A0 & DIMM_B0.

3 would fill all BLACK slots first. This is according to the MSI manual and a Newegg reviewer that noted a boot problem with slots used.

The BLUE slots are DIMM_A1, B1 & C1.

As for your Audio issue, the MB manual shows the pinout of the JAUD1 audio connector. As for the wires in the case.... they should be marked, so the case manual says.

My ram was correct, I already found where to put the audio but what do i connect to that. Msi gave me a thing. It has this written on it Sense2_Retirn Sese1_Retirn Presence# GND Port 1L Port 1R Port 2R Sense_Send Port 2L and my casing connections say this. There are two larger ones that would fit here. HD Audio and AC'97. Then there are small 1 pins saying Ret L L out Ret R R out Mic-In Ground Mic Vcc . There are 7 of those small ones. Where do I connect all of these. It doesnt seem like I have anywhere to put them. Also is my cpu the problem. I dont think it is but there is nothing else wrong.

P.s. I have 2 sticks of drr3 13333 mhz 2gb each

About your boot problem, can you confirm that you have the extra 4 or 8 pin power plug connected?? Its above and to the left of the cpu.

I see in pictures that 4 of the pins on the MB connector are covered, not sure if you need all 8 pins connected or if just the 4 is adequate enough to get it to post. I'm sure using all 8 is better if your PSU has the necessary plug already.

Make sure you don't use the PCI express 4 pin plug... BTW, is that plug plugged into your video card as well?? If your card has one, could be a 4 or 6 pin connector and might even have dual 6 pin connectors.

As for your audio, still workin on that.... I'm not clear on what you have for wires in your case. Can you post a picture????

nvm bout it. I found out the problem already. its a faulty board..I went to msi forums and read. Also I called tech support and they told me to do some things, "which I already tried." so I am RMAing this and hopefully they bring back a working one.XD I actaully was going to take pictures jsut now..

Also its a 8 pin. it says so, that little thing just comes off.
