Question Front panel power button doesn't work after upgrade

Today i tried upgrading my pc since i got a new motherboard so i pretty much had to take it apart entirely. After the majority of the work was done I wanted to see if it works so I plug it in, press the power button, go through some BIOS updates and everything works! After I got to the desktop I let it update everything it needed and decided to tweak the around in the case when it suddenly dies. I try turning it on again but the poeer button seems unresponsive so I think to myself that I must've disconnected it somehow, but that wasn't it. I connected my phone to the front panel usbs to see if the cables broke somehow but that wasn't it either. My brother is throwing a tantrum so please help me as fast as possible

you tweak the pc when the computer is on?

So the system is unresponsive now. Try this in case it resets something. UNplug it from the wall. Leave it that way for 15 to 30 min. Plug it back in again. Now try the front panel On / Off pushbutton.
