Front USB 3.0 not working

My 2 front panel USB 3.0 ports wont't work. They have no power at all. If I try to charge my phone it charges for 5 seconds when i turn it on and then they stop working. Have tried different drivers but non of them are making them work. Cant find any drivers on the disk from the motherboard. Have tried updating in device manager. Have a feeling that I have to enable in bios, but I dont know how. I am 100% sure that the cable from front usb are attached to correct port on Motherboard.

AMD FX-8320 black edition
MSi gaming 970 motherboard
Corsair Graphite 230t case
Windows 10

usb 3 cable that connects to your motherboard (if you have it) should look like this.

and should connect to a corresponding connector on your motherboard.

this is your motherboard your USB 3 connector on the motherboard is listed as JUSB4

I have a cable just like the one above plugged into the JUSB4 on motherboard

and if you use a usb thumb drive does it function normally ? if yes, then you could look in bios under onboard devices under usb could be an option to enable power on usb

I tried a USB 3.0 thumb drive and that one didnt work, but then I tried an external hard drive USB 2.0 and it started blinking like its normally doing, but my computer didnt show anything from it on the screen.
