I have a gigabit h81m-d2v motherboard and a cmstorm case. The 2 frontal USB 3.0 ports don't give power and don't recognize anything. Also, the frontal mic and audio ports don't work. However, the frontal usb 2.0 ports work fine. I checked device manager and no drivers seem to be missing.

I am running win 10 64 bit but I used to have the same problem on win 7.

Afternoon,

You probobly have a faulty motherboard, would suggest you RMA the thing.

If the usb hubs aren't working and the audio ports then you have got a problem with your mobo.

Is this recent or has it always been there from day one of using your computer?

Many thanks,

Ensure that the connections on the motherboard are connected properly. I remember when my USB 3.0 port gave power, but didn't work, it was actually because I had the USB 3.0 motherboard connector in and the USB 2.0 one in at the same time... Worth checking...

Sorry for not answering earlier... Totally forgot about this thread.
It has been from day one. I'm guessing that some cables aren't connected. Will try and see if everything is connected right under the hood.
