Question Front USB connector only works backwards ?

When I built my PC I had an issue with the system not powering. Diag the issue as the front USB C connector. I leave it unplugged.

Come back to it today as I want to use the port finally

I plug the port in arrows on the male and female lining up. Press power.... Nothing. Unplug it, press power and it's fine. Odd

Sitting here pondering
Screw it I'll see if it fits in the other way
It fits...
It powers...
And works!

I initially came here looking for a solution.
But I guess I found it. Kinda curious if theres cause for concern that the connector is in backwards? Or since it works is the arrow just in the wrong spot?

Can't be backwards as it is reversible, best feature of USB-C, if something doesn't work one way, it's most probably just bad contacts.
