[SOLVED] Front USB stopped working.

So I have the ASUS ROG CROSSHAIR 5 dark hero motherboard and the ASUS TUF Gaming GT501 case. Only 1 of my front usb ports suddenly stopped working. When connecting some devices I get the message "the last USB device you connected to this computer malfunctioned and windows does not recognize it". Other devices just don't work at all but when connecting them I still get the audio feedback. I tried reinstalling drivers and even bios update but nothing worked. How can I know if its a motherboard problem or something wrong with the case port?.

Seems like I can't replace the cable without changing the whole thing (https://www.asus.com/support/FAQ/1038172/).

Also the connector I'm using in the motherboard is this one:

Just want to know if its a problem with the motherboard or the case, and how can I know this. Thanks.

Check ur bios, go onto rog forums, depending what bios u have usb ports have benn hit and miss

Google has numerous resources so an answer can be found there but depending on the model and the motherboard, what should be the average ideal readings?

update to latest bios
