Frozen In Vacation (TS1)

Hello.

I have a family stuck on a vacation lot. All of a sudden, every Sim on
the entire lot is in suspended animation. I still have privy to all the
controls available, so the game itself is not stuck, just the sims.
Even the green diamond is spinning over one of the Sims heads.

I tried shutting to game down entirely, only to find the same frozen
sims (and this is a beach lot ha ha). I would normally just bulldoze
the lot, except I spent no less than 4 hours building this huge hotel.
There is nothing non-maxis in it. So I thought I would ask, before I
lose my big beautiful brand new hotel, is there anything anyone can
think of that is causing this?

Some hacked objects that require different expansion packs can do this.
I think it was a no-jealousy patch that caused my sims to be frozen
once. It's probably worth looking at what objects you have on the lot.
If you remove the offending object from the game then when you go back
to the lot you should just get the missing object message, and then
everything should work. Alternatively, you could try getting the
build/buy mode enabler and then remove suspect objects from the lot
whilst in the game.
