Frustrating Wifi Problem!!

OK so I have had my HP laptop for just a little over a year, but back in October is when the problem started. When I'm on my computer my wifi will suddenly just drop and a little yellow exclamation point will be showing were the wifi symbol is.Basically saying that I'm not connected to the internet. When this happens I usually just close my laptop down for a few minutes and then pull it back up. The problem will be solved for a couple of minutes but then my signal will drop once again. This can happen for all day and it's deeply frustrating. Some times it gets so bad that my computer will say I have no available networks around, and there will be an red X on top of the wifi signal. I've taken my computer to Geek Squad several times, and each time they claimed to have fixed the problem, but when i get home with my computer the problem is still there. I personally think that my computers adapter is what the problem. I think I need any new one, but I still not sure.
So, can someone please help me with this problem?

to made a wi-fi test go to a hotspot place and connect there surf until it drop off and if it not then the issue is between the laptop and your provider .
