so i have this power supply that outputs 350W but in the specifications on the chassis and in the manufacturers web it says it provides 12V1 - 18A and 12V2 - 16A so does that means it's capable of 18A+16A=24A per 12V rail or does this mean it there are 2 12V rails? because other PSU makers only state one 12V rail Amps

Thanks in advance

Solution
For a system using a single GeForce GTX 550 Ti graphics card NVIDIA specifies a minimum of a 400 Watt or greater system power supply that has a maximum combined +12 Volt continuous current rating of 24 Amps or greater and that has at least one 6-pin PCI Express supplementary power connector.

Total Power Supply Wattage is NOT the crucial factor in power supply selection!!! Sufficient Total Combined Continuous Power/Current Available on the +12V Rail(s) is the most critical factor.

FSP ATX-350PNF
• OEM: FSP Group Inc.
• maximum combined +12 Volt continuous current rating of 25 Amps

Any PSU that has more than one +12V rail will state all the rails amp capacity just as your does. Only PSUs with a single rail will have a single rating. You can't exactly add the two amp ratings like that, but for all practical purposes, it will be OK. Does the +12V rating also show a total wattage for the +12V rails?

Btw, you have another thread open about this same thing, that I just answered.
