Fujitsu SATA HD driver needed?

Anyone know if the Fujitsu mhw2080bh pl 80 Gb 2.5 inch hard drive truly needs a driver under Win7 Pro? Danged odd that a SATA drive needs a driver when every other 2.5 I've ever used doesn't. This is not being recognized by a Sabrent EC HDD2 toaster but the drive works fine hooked up raw or in a case. A 180Gb SSD works fine in the toaster. Got me stumped. Think its the Sabrent dock's fault .

Probably the dock. i have had issues with docks not reading hard drives but on SATA they are fine.
