Whenever I launch a game in fullscreen mode, my 1440p 240hz monitor changes resolution to 4k 120 hz. In game stays at 1440p.
Alt-tabbing changes windows resolution back to what it should be at 1440p 240hz. I've tried disabling fullscreen optimization through regedit and the game's properties. It happens on multiple games. I'm not familiar enough with CRU and don't know how to create 1440p @240hz on there

Hi,
1. Which model video crad do you have?
2. What does it say in the System > Display > Advanced Display section of windows in the 'Choose a refresh rate' drop down box.
3. Check in the video card software Nvidia Control Panel or AMD etc. to see what the set resolution is in there.
Cheers.

I have a 3080 in the game pc, it’s hdmi connected to a gc575 capture card into an LG 27GS95QE (hdmi 2.1).
When I’m using windows regularly, everything says 1440p @240hz. (Display settings and in nvidia control panel)
Whenever a full screen application or game is launched, the monitor automatically changes to 4k 120hz. Whatever in game resolution was set, remains the same.
