[citation][nom]maestintaolius[/nom]The problem I have with TERA is lvl 1-58 are skill based with decent progression, lvl 59-60 progression is severely restricted by RNG. Drop rates off the two endgame dungeons is horrible (clear ACHM and MCNM half a dozen times and maybe get 1 decent drop) and the enchant rate of t14 gear is horrible resulting in you having to farm gold for dozens of hours (no skill involved, just a mindless slog) to afford the stupid scrolls and fodder so you can get geared up to do MCHM which too involved and endless grind of faction and components to craft the 'final' gear.[/citation]

i have yet to get to level 60 (i think i'm at level 57) because 45 onwards the leveling slows down and my internet is very bad (i think my area has yet to be upgraded from the wires that were around when dialup was the thing (i think there was dialup then broadband came around and higher grade wires and then fiber optic - this is england btw it might have worked differently in other parts of the world)

Hm i have played Secret World in the beta. First toughs :
- combat system awkward ( can't believe that in 2012 a game has that kind of control )
- graphics were poor ( it feels more 2d then 3d )
- quests were ok , normal wow questing system ( but some were really hard , like knowing weird historical events , which ultimately leads to google for a solution )

If you want Terra like graphics + combat system , play Guild Wars 2 , it has all the things in Terra and no mindless questing . Also the lower levels are repeatable because the game lowers your level , if you step in a lower area ( if you are lv 40 , you are downgraded to lv 12 ( the maximum for that zone ) and have the appropiate stats to combat the npc`s )

Tera requires no skill whatsoever, i played it and can't see what's the hype about it, charing up skills is slow and boring, and unless you're retarded and cant move a mouse around you will hit your target.

I honestly think more abilities = higher skill cap as you got a ton more tactics to it than just do a barell roll and mash them 4 abilities over and over.

Anyways TSW isn't focused on PvP but PvE, the skill in TSW is to choose the right abilities together with passives that boost those skills and group play.
