Fury x display port issue

Hi,

I have a fury x and an asrock z87 extreme 4 motherboard.

When i plug my monitor in using hdmi cable it boots fine but when i use display port 80 - 90% of the time i get a d6 debug error and it fails to boot.

Ive had everything apart and tried multiple display port cables and it hasnt made a different. Has anyone come across this problem or have a solution. I dont think its the gpu i think its something to do with the handshake between gpu and motherboard and display port.

I need display port for the freesync capabilities of my monitor.

Have you tried using DDU to uninstall and re-install drivers?

Have you contacted the cards provider or referenced their forums to see if it's a known hardware issue? I'll assume yes on this.

Hi,

Just to update on this. I managed to fix it by downgrading my motherboard bios. The latest asrock z87 extreme 4 bios seems to have an issue with recognising display port.
