Hello,

Please rate/comment my futur build before I order it :)

My futur build for gaming, RAMDisk use and virtualization.
It should be very silent at night with control on every fan.
It is able to OC if necessary during the day.
Ready for SLI usage in the far future.

CASE -AEROCOOL Dead Silence Cube, Window, Red
MB -GIGABYTE G1.Sniper M5, Z87, mATX, LGA1150
RAM -G.SKILL TridentX 4x8GB, DDR3 1600, CL7-8-8-24-2N
CPU -INTEL i7-4770K "Haswell", 4x 3.5GHz
COOL -PHANTEKS CPU cooler, PH-TC14PE, 140x140x25mm
GPU -GIGABYTE GTX770, WindForce3, 4GB GDDR5, Rev2
PSU -SEASONIC 860W, Platinum, 160x150x86mm, SS-860XP2 Active PFC F3
FAN -PHANTEKS PH-F140TS, 140mm, Red

From my research everything should physically fit in the case.
The RAM heat-spreader have a removable top fin so it should fit under the CPU heatsink.
My screen is only 1280x1024 so I will probably not need to OC soon,
and SLI will wait until I change my monitor for a 144hz or G-Sync one.
I am still looking for a headset that benefits from motherboard's audio chip.
Is there any place where I can buy a non used MX1000 Logitech mouse ?

Thanks for answers.

10k raptor drives were good in their day.
But today's ssd's are 50x faster for os usage, and 3x faster in sequential.
I would not plan on ramdisk. You can't get enough in 32gb to be nearly as effective as a ssd.
There are integrity issues if you should lose power.
Keep it simple with a decent sized ssd such as a 240gb Samsung evo.
An added benefit of Samsung is that their magician program will do some dynamic ram cacheing if you have sufficient ram.

I can tell you that the modern nvidia cards with the titan coolers are quiet.
To keep them more quiet, overprovision with a stronger card si it loafs.
A very nice build.

I have used the same motherboard in a silverstone TJ-08E case.

I have a GTX780 and a noctua nh-d14 cooler.

The parts are inaudible with the fans on low speed.
I would expect yours to be the same.

I am looking towards a 4k monitor; perhaps g.sync will be part of that.
The motherboard can accommodate a second card and that is always a possibility if necessary.
But, my upgrade plan is to market the GTX780 in favor of a next gen Maxwell card.

In your situation, planning for sli, I would not use a fan based graphics card. Adding a second card will restrict the top card
airflow making it run hotter.
I think I would use a card with a titan type blower cooler instead.

I hope you plan on using a decent sized ssd for your "C" drive.

As a reminder, you will need better than w7 home premium or w8 to access >16gb of ram.

You should be able to find your mouse on ebay. If you can't, save your search, and you will get an email whenever one surfaces.

I really appreciate all your comments and advises :)
I am still using an old 10k rpm hdd for C but I plan on going on boot RAMDisk OS.
The copy of OS from hdd to ramdisk processing time at boot isnt an issue for me.
The windforce 3 cooling systems on the gpu is know for good cooling/noise ratio, but for SLI it is maybe not best solution indeed...
Standard gpu cooler are way too noisy, I will find a compromise.
