ey, I just want to ask a question about my monitor. I got p2314h monitor conected to my MSI 970 with DP cable but i have problems with DirectWrite. I frequently see some text really blurry and fuzzy. I did do the basic changes (chrome://flags and control panel->monitor->clear type) but still i get that fuzzy text a lot especially on small text.

Can you read this just fine? :)

Have you tried another browser? Have you adjusted the sharpness of your monitor? Have you noticed blurry text on certain websites only? Do you wear glasses or contacts? Are you sure they aren't smudged? 😉

I'd never adjust software specific settings for visuals, unless I absolutely had to. Too much hassle. I'd stick with the defaults, and adjust my monitor's settings.

Well now that I notice I do not have this problem on Mozila. The text is not that fuzzy as chrome (and by fuzzy I mean...dunno, like every leter has corners somehow, I wish I could explain it better). So the only way to avoid it is to change browser? Should I buy a DVI-D cable to compaire?

No, I don't think a different cable is going to make the text any better on Chrome. Since Firefox is not having this issue, I would blame Chrome.

In Chrome, try changing the default font? Settings -> Show Advanced Settings... -> Customize Font

I'll try and tag this question as "Chrome" related, and maybe we can get another expert to look into it.

Well yes, its definitely a chrome problem, sorry for the misleading info but I wasn't sure. I changed the font from the settings menu and replacing the default 'Times New Roman' to 'Arial' helped a bit. But just a bit, the problem remains.
