FX-53 and memory

Been about 6 years since I last built a system. Boy things have changed.

I decided on a FX-53 with a Asus sk8v motherboard (hope I put this together right).

I just can't figure out what memory to buy. There are so many options. All I know is I need 1 gig total.

Help! What are your recommendations?

The best chipsets are nVidia, if you're spending the big bucks for an FX-53 you should get the best chipset too. Socket 939 will bring it.
