fx 6300 bottlenecking a gtx 1070ti

I'll be buying a gtx 1070ti this week is it worth the bottleneck if im going to upgrade my cpu later this year?

What GPU do you have now? A FX 6300 will bottleneck a 1070 ti significantly in modern even remotely CPU heavy titles.

New GPU's should be out sometime this year and possibly they wont be way over MSRP. I would personally just wait until you upgrade your CPU.

This should be best option, that GPU is still good, upgrade to new generation CPU/RAM/MOBO and PSU if needed, GPU is still good for its age, well for me.
