Guys I need help, I'm not sure what's happening I think my CPU is failing.

CPU: AMD FX 6300 (stock settings)
Cooler: Cryorig H7
MOBO: MSI 970 Gaming
RAM: GSkills Ripjaws 8GB 1600mhz DDR3
GPU: Zotac GTX 970 4GB 256 Bit ddr5
PSU: Thermaltake LitePower 700w
HDD: Kingston 120gb SSD

the Processor was overclocked to a 4.4ghz but never reached above 70c, however I replaced the thermal paste to get better cooling temps. then it started randomly crashing. But when running prime95 (even 24 hours) the system runs fine. still it Randomly crashes later on about nearly 48hours after regardless if you restarted or rested the computer. It also froze on BIOS settings.

here's what I've tried so far:

1. Reset settings on the bios to default
1.5 Run stress tests Prime95 (24hours works fine without issues)
2.Temps were fine with atleast 3c (lowest and under load) and 40c (idle)
3.Re-applied thermal past
4 Increased voltage to +0.1000 while on base FSB and Multiplier (3.5ghz)

What I'm sure of:

It's not the windows because It seems to run fine with just Amd Overdrive and Prime95 for 24 hours (26 hours actually)
Temps are normal specially on stock as it never even reaches 55c (highest at stock was 52c)
It doesn't freeze on a specific app or windows, it just freezes (it froze on the bios menu)

What I'm unsure of:
If the CPU was damaged regardless of the maintained temps.

Right now I'm trying increased CPU-NB Voltage and DRAM Voltage

Please help, thanks!!

Well I swapped out my Processor for a different one and it still occurs, I'm betting it's the motherboard as I was cleaning it, it looked like there was some sort of leak at the VRM Heatsink. I also realized that last year I had numerous issues about the keyboard and mouse disconnecting randomly. Not only that but also some of the sata ports disconnect. So I guess it was some sign that the board was failing, It was able to last a year since though also.

Thanks for the response!
The CPU may have been damaged in the process and it's six to seven years old so maybe it's just dying, I've had an fx 4300, 6300, and now an 8350 and there dying slowly, maybe upgrade to Ryzen.
