Fx 6350 and GTX 780 or i5 4690k and GTX 770

Which of these two set ups will perform better in modern games in terms of fps at 1080p?

I think the i5 and 770. The FX will push todays games but if you want to max out everything you need CPU power too.

Core i5 and a R9 290 will be a better choice. You can get the R9 290 for the same price as the GTX 770 at ebay.
